Job Details
Applications are invited for male Indian citizens, resident of the following States for filling up of vacancies for the year 2010 on temporary basis likely to be permanent, shown against each State for the post of Constable (General Duty) Group 'C' in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Indian and even abroad. On appointment,the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age : Between 18 to 23 years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 01 August 2010)
Educational Qualification :Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized Board/ University/ National Open School (National Institute of Open School)

Medical Standards :-
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye (Master Eye) and 6/9 in other eye without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
The candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the dutie
Fee : 
All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of the "Account Officer, Directorate General, ITB Police, New Delhi. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee
How to apply
Application Form in prescribed format along with Candidate’s Admission Card and attested copies of requisite documents/testimonials should be sent in an envelope superscriber with bold letter "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) IN ITBPF” by the candidates so as to reach the DIG (Engineer), Directorate General, ITB Police Force, Block No. II, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before the last date 22/09/2010.
